IPCPR Endorses Scott Brown for Senate from Mass

Greetings!

Massachusetts Special Election For U.S. Senate-Tuesday, Jan. 19th!
To help you in your consideration of candidates running in the special election to be held in Massachusetts this Tuesday, January 19, your association wishes to point out that, as a state senator, Republican U.S. Senatorial candidate Scott Brown voted against the $1.00 state cigarette tax that became effective last April 1.  His opponent, Democratic candidate Martha Coakley, has no record in such matters that we are aware of.

It should be noted that Democrats, in general, tend to be more anti-smoking than Republicans.  Voters who appreciate tobacco may want to take this into consideration and cast their votes for candidate Brown.

Regardless of your decision, please be sure to cast your vote in Tuesday's election!
