H. Upmann Sungrown
Altadis continues with its numerous new releases this month, focused around the IPCPR show in New Orleans, Louisiana. Cigar Weekly learns this week, about the new H. Upmann Sungrown, via a press release from spokesperson Janelle Rosenfeld.
Hailed as “quite likely the most sensual cigar under the sun,” the new H. UpmannSun Grown was launched at IPCPR this August by Altadis U.S.A. It ishandmade at the famed La Flor de Copan factory in Honduras.The new cigar is highlighted by sun-grown wrapper leaves cultivated in Ecuador,which is known for some of the sweetest, most flavorful wrapper leaves grown anywhere in the world.This superior wrapper surrounds a hand-selected Broadleaf binder and a blend of fine Nicaraguan and Honduran fillers.Connoisseurs of sun-grown cigars will “savor the fuller body and deep, complexflavor sensations of this intoxicating cigar,” said a company spokesperson, who added, “this new cigar exemplifies H. Upmann’s 166 year tradition of excellence.H. Upmann Sun Grown will ship in August and is available in six sizes:Corona,Short Churchill,Lancero,Magnum,No. 2and Churchill.Suggested retail prices range from $6.25 to $7.75
